As landscape television and portrait mobile content increasingly coexist across modern media workflows, production teams face growing challenges in monitoring and producing content in multiple aspect ratios simultaneously. The KUM-2434H 23.8-inch 12G-SDI 4K Landscape/Portrait Multi-View Monitor is built on 4K resolution and supports single-view, PIP/PBP, triple-view, and quad-view displays, with each sub-screen preserving HDR luminance gradation and color transitions. What drew particular attention on the show floor was its independent rotation, cropping, and localized zooming, without physically rotating the monitor. Each input can independently process signals up to 4K 60P, allowing landscape and portrait images to be displayed simultaneously on the same screen. This eliminates common monitoring issues such as vertically captured camera footage appearing incorrectly oriented on a landscape display. By enabling real-time, precise monitoring of key image areas without relying on downstream processing, the KUM-2434H allows production teams to preview the intended aspect ratio for different distribution platforms, including live streaming and television. The result is a more efficient monitoring workflow with reduced equipment requirements, particularly valuable for multi-camera production, live broadcasting, sports coverage, and space-constrained environments such as OB vans.

Nearby, the QD-OLED HDR showcase highlighted the image quality of the KXM-2720S and KXM-3220S. With an ultra-high 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio, up to 1,000 nits peak brightness, ≥80% BT.2020 color gamut coverage, and an ultra-fast 0.1 ms response time, the QD-OLED monitors deliver exceptional black-level performance and precise HDR reproduction. With self-emissive pixels, QD-OLED technology produces deep blacks without the blooming typically associated with backlight displays. This allows subtle highlight and shadow details to be reproduced with greater precision, an important consideration for HDR monitoring and color-critical workflows where inaccurate color, elevated black levels, or lost tonal detail can affect creative decisions. One European colorist visiting the booth highlighted black-level purity as a key consideration, while noting that the 27-inch desktop form factor is well suited to the viewing distance of a typical post-production workstation.

ST 2110 IP Monitor — KUM-2410H-IP25G

Designed for IP-based broadcast environments, the KUM-2410H-IP25G features 2×25GbE SFP28 interfaces, enabling connection to SMPTE ST 2110 IP-based broadcast-grade systems. It supports ST 2022-7 redundancy seamless protection switching, and ST 2110 decoding with conversion to SDI/HDMI. With NMOS discovery and registration, the monitor supports hybrid IP/SDI signal monitoring and management.
